Making Maquettes. This is what I have been busy with lately. I took part in an open call for maquetteers requested by Clive Hicks-Jenkins on his lovely blog, Clive Hicks-Jenkins artlog, which I had seen on another of my favourite blogs, James Hood's Cardboard Cutout Sundown. If you head over to Clive's blog, you can read all about the online exhibition in five parts, and it is quite a treat to see all the lovely work.

New work

I created this new image Yellow Horse.

These two images were entered for Owt's final issue on the theme of Voyage, but I don't know whether they will be published or not as yet.

I entered this image for the magazine Peculiar Bliss on the theme of Ritual. I don't know as yet whether it has been selected for their next issue.

Its been a bit of a balancing act of late, with various things going on, so I thought this image from a painting I did a few years ago accurately portrays how I feel at the moment and the time of year.

My new studio and some new work

This is my new studio at Hot Bed Press and some new work as well. It's a nice space.

Check out my new website!

I've asked my talented web designer, Chris Leigh, to design a website for me. I'm delighted with the simple, colourful layout ... so please feel free to take a look.

Unleashed auction night

It was a great night, so many talented illustrators. I am happy that some of my favourite works of art were selected, especially JoJo Norris's Troublesome Crowd, for which she won a bronze. It was a great honour to be shortlisted as the Best in the North, and I received a Highly Commended certificate. Lots of money was raised for both the artists and the charity North West Air Ambulance.
